Jordan is an Information Systems Supervisor with a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from California State University at Los Angeles in December 2017. He graduated in the top one percent of his graduating class and with a GPA of 3.91 out of 4.0 in a highly difficult and challenging field. Subsequently, Jordan was honored with the Special Recognition in Graduate Studies award given to students earning a GPA of greater than 3.8 in their respective fields of study. Additionally, Jordan had received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California at Davis. Jordan was the Distinguished Graduate in his officers’ class. During his stint in the Army, Jordan embodied the qualities of strong leadership and teamwork through the daily supervision and management of subordinates in his unit.
Currently, Jordan works as an Information Systems Supervisor for the City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power from March 2019 to present. Additionally, Jordan worked as a Java Developer for Kaiser Permanente IT in Pasadena from July 2018 to March 2019. From July 2009 to June 2015, Jordan worked as a Local Veterans Employment Representative for the State of California Employment Development Department, aiding veterans in obtaining employment appropriate to their abilities and talents and providing veteran services to countless veterans. Most notably, Jordan has also worked at two Fortune 100 companies: one position as Superintendent for the Marine Terminals Corporation at the Port of Oakland and the other as a Sales Manager for Snap-On Tools.
